WHY THIS MATTERS
2026 is a defining year for the future of clean, community-driven energy aggregation programs. LEAN’s National CCA Federal Advocacy Days ensure that Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) leaders are visible, coordinated, and influential in Washington at a moment when federal decisions will shape energy affordability, reliability, and long-term growth across the sector.
For three consecutive years, this national convening has elevated CCA voices at the federal level while strengthening collaboration and peer relationships among CCAs nationwide. Advocacy Days bring together CCA leaders from across the country for direct engagement with federal policymakers, national organizations, and key stakeholders.
This year, we are expanding opportunities for mission-aligned partners to sponsor this growing effort.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING ADVOCACY DAYS
20-30 CCA leaders serving millions of customers nationwide will convene in Washington, DC for a coordinated advocacy program that includes:

Meetings and briefings with Members of Congress, congressional staff, and federal agencies

Engagement with national trade associations and partner organizations

Workshops, peer learning, and networking opportunities

A dedicated CCA Reception (open to all) on Capitol Hill
Please note: Sponsor engagement is focused on convenings, networking, and recognition opportunities. Sponsors not on LEAN's Federal Policy Committee are invited to all networking events except the orientation meeting/breakfast on April 21. Advocacy meetings are reserved for LEAN's Federal Policy Committee members.
