CCA is delivering immediate and significant progress on previously intractable energy challenges. That is why supporting LEAN’s work towards the success and expansion of clean energy aggregation matters so much.
In today’s shifting political climate, the need for local clean energy models that actually work is greater than ever before. We need all hands on deck to keep the momentum going. We need you!
We’ve also been working across the nation–and globally. In New York, LEAN supported the launch of Westchester Smart Power, which is off to a great start. In the Midwest, LEAN was instrumental in the integration of a clean power option for hundreds of aggregation programs in Illinois and Ohio. Last year, we took the message of Community Choice to the United Nation’s Climate Conference in Paris, and recently met with research analysts at the Japanese Electric Power Information Center.
Now, with so many eyes on the market shift underway in California, LEAN is setting its sights on expansion into new states while working hard to protect our interests here at home.
For 2017, we are raising funds to support our ongoing work in California as well as commissioning a national study to assess best potential for State expansion in terms of regulatory structure, environmental policies, ISO disposition, political support and ability to compete on price. We’ll also begin working with allied organizations in additional western states to help them find their way to Community Choice.
Our work happens before there is program awareness, political support or budget allocation. That’s why we need your financial support. Please consider a tax deductible contribution to LEAN Energy US at one of the sponsor levels indicated below:
