Seth Baruch, LEAN Consultant; Principal, Carbonomics
Seth Baruch is an internationally recognized expert in the development of methodologies to monitor greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions. Seth was co‐founder and managing partner for QualityTons, a consulting company that developed and implemented numerous GHG‐mitigation projects around the world. Clients included the World Bank, UNEP, Camco, AES, Devon Energy, El Paso Gas Corporation, the Government of Ghana, LG, Natsource, Trading Emissions, and the British High Commission. He co‐authored an extensive analysis on the financial, environmental and employment impacts of a potential Community Choice program in the East Bay, which has been distributed to officials and other stakeholders across both counties. Seth has made presentations to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors, mayors, city councilmembers and others to educate them on the process of creating a Community Choice program.
